The Cultura Custom collection was inspired by the natural beauty found in the Oaxacan community and culture. Vibrant colors and rich textures capture the local essence and pay homage to the culture’s intricate woven textiles, the contours of the Oaxacan landscape and the weathered patina of architectural materials.
The Cultura collection is a celebration of the unique ways we come together and create balance and harmony between the individual and the collective. A diverse variety of constructions, price points, textures and patterns all coordinate and complement each other in extensive combinations. Through hands-on workshops we connected with and learned from master artisans and participated in group reflections that cultivate a deeper understanding and respect for traditional craft, identity and cultural heritage.
The sense of place and experience shaped our process and inspired us to develop a collection that is connected to community. Experience Cultura Custom at HD Expo 2023 (booth 3927).
Axminster
Shaw Contract Hospitality offers the highest level of artistry and luxury underfoot with woven wool blend Axminster carpets. Our design team interpreted these motifs into eye catching Axminister designs that capture the vibrancy and spirit of Oaxacan culture.
Tailor Tuft
Graphic lines, intricate stitches and, soft blending of color reference back to hand woven textiles and the looms that they are created on. Cultura Custom highlights the unique capabilities of Tailor Tuft technology with luxurious pile-height distinction and rich, precise detail.
CYP
The CYP patterns in the collection showcase our capability to offer an 8 color CYP construction. Patterns juxtapose bold geometry with cozy textures and flowing gradients with overlays of higher contrast to create designs that feel unique.
Cultura LVT
Design and functionality of a space help to communicate culture while e inspiring, motivating and promoting inclusive values. Cultura LVT is designed to coordinate beautifully with the custom broadloom and rugs.
