The client: Success and professionalism
The client had taken up over 25000 SFT new office space at a premier location in Hyderabad.
As a brand reputed for professionalism, it wanted its new office to convey the same standard and success through interior design.
The brief to the design agency - Royale Infra was crisp. - the new office had to enhance the overall brand perception and create a positive first impression on clients and prospective employees.
The design took shape from this foundation.
Design framework: Combining luxury and functionality
The team from Royale Infra understood the requirements clearly. From the team’s perspective, the most critical consideration for the interiors was the careful selection of materials that would create a welcoming environment for clients.
The team chose a colour palette inspired by natural materials. While the idea is simple, the challenge was to translate these materials and colours into the interior design and make it look luxurious.
The colors of the materials were deliberately used to create a flow of circulation while simultaneously dividing the space according to function.
Execution: Conveying hierarchy through floor design
The reception area served as the entry point to the office, separating the floor plan into two segments - administrative and marketing. The use of materials in the reception area continued into the VIP lounge but with a bolder statement.
The two segments on either side of the reception acted as their entity, yet were still connected in terms of look and feel. The colours and materials gradually changed towards the workspace area and the carpet tiles created a more formal space that met the necessary functional requirements. The carpet tiles provided necessary cushioning and acoustical benefits while walking.
The use of Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) in the Chairman’s cabin elevated the space to a more luxurious and spacious environment. The raised height even fulfilled the Vaastu requirements of the client.
Flooring: Shaw Contract’s Vertical Layers collection
Since the design theme was well settled, the design team scanned the Shaw Contract’s vast collections to choose the appropriate tiles with the needed robustness, colour, and texture.
The Vertical Layers collection had the necessary look (of scratched surfaces, peeling paint, and crumbling bricks) that took the user through time, conveying stories of the present and past.
The use of LVT in wooden shades elevated the materials and elements in a more dignified and aesthetic manner, creating a luxurious and spacious feel.
Net result: Excellence and professionalism through design
By using carefully selected materials and colors, the design team created a welcoming and impressive environment that projected the brand's commitment to excellence and professionalism.
The resulting space not only impressed clients but also provided a functional and comfortable workspace for employees.
