CASE STUDY: Auxiliary collection
American Biopharmaceutical Company
Designed and built by Summertown Interiors with project management by PMKConsult, the design brief for this project was to convert two existing offices into one spacious collaborative workplace for an American biopharmaceutical company.
The design team developed a simple palette, using predominantly neutral shades and cool grey tones. This palette was reflected in areas through both the carpet tiles and vinyl flooring that was chosen.
Our aligned dealer, Metre Squared, specified the Auxiliary carpet tile collection from our In Stock UK programme. Style Feature in colours Smoke Ice and Smoke Black were used to create an interesting design feature using a quarter-turn installation pattern.
Style Complement in colours Blush, Ice and Smoke have been specified in the private booths, collaborative areas and meeting rooms, and bring in accents of the company’s brand colours to punctuate the space.
The overall space includes an open plan workstation area with plenty of natural light, several meeting rooms, a communal pantry and reception area. Meanwhile a dedicated library space was created to provide a quieter alternative workspace, and a wellness room incorporated for the wellbeing of the employees.
