■ホールの存在を都市に表出する 大劇場・音楽ホール・スタジオシアターの３つのホールは、高揚感を高めるアプローチや非日常性、静粛性などに配慮しながら、エントランスの吹抜空間に水平、垂直方向に分散し、その存在を都市に表出するように配置した。 大劇場内部は、舞台との一体感を重視し、緩やかな扇型でしっかりと勾配の取れた客席形状とし、高揚感高める赤い内装で包み込んだ。そして外側はその赤を基調とした空間が栗梅色の色彩として街に滲みだし、象徴的なアイストップとして都市に存在を示す構成とした。 ■賑わいと活動を都市に開放する 劇場を都市に開くことは、その活動そのものを都市に開くことといえる。 各ホールをつなぐ動線、ロビー空間やカフェ・レストランと共に、活動スペース、ラウンジ等、とりわけ９つあるスタジオ群は都市に開く重要な要素と位置づけ、市民の活動を誘発する形で計画し、文化芸術の活動そのものが都市に映し出され街に広がるような構成を図った。 高崎芸術劇場では、文化芸術の創造発信の中心として、都市に文化・芸術の賑わいを創出し、活動が街に浸透していく、新しい開かれた劇場のあり方を示している。 ***ENGLISH TRANSLATION*** (Please note: This entry was submitted using the entrant's native language) "■ Show the existence of the hall to the city The three halls, the large theater, the music hall, and the studio theater, are dispersed horizontally and vertically in the atrium space of the entrance, while giving consideration to an approach that enhances the feeling of exhilaration, extraordinaryness, and quietness, and their existence is distributed to the city.
