"New Central Office Opening at Bem Center Office Building – Innovative and Inspiring Work Environment Through Collaboration Between McDonald's and Market Építő Zrt. Budapest, 2024 – McDonald's, globally recognized by the iconic "golden arches," proudly announces the opening of its new 950 square meter central office in the Bem Center Office Building. The office not only provides a modern work environment for its 65 employees but also represents the pinnacle of innovation and adaptation, meeting the high expectations set by Scheer Sándor, the owner of the Hungarian franchise and the founder of Market Építő Zrt. The office design adapted originally for the Haller Gardens project fits perfectly with the new location. The collaboration between McDonald's and Market Építő Zrt. resulted in a unique work environment combining sleek, functional workstations, transparently designed spaces, and an industrial style with concrete and glass elements. The iconic "golden arches" are reflected throughout the interior design elements. The fryes as the icon from the menu is creatively incorporated into the acoustic ceiling lamellas, while unique wall coverings made from kitchen storage containers create a distinctive atmosphere. A significant challenge was the proper placement and integration of IT and marketing lab equipment, including multiple screens and self-service kiosks known from the restaurants. The community dining area offers a much more vibrant, cheerful, and colorful atmosphere compared to the rest of the office. It fits stylistically with the rest of the office yet provides a friendly and unique atmosphere. The space's multifunctional design allows for everyday lunch breaks as well as full-staff presentations or events. The coffee machine used in McCafe has been given a prominent place, emphasizing the importance of beverages in social life. This new central office not only underscores McDonald's commitment to innovative and adaptive design but also demonstrates that a well-designed workplace can inspire and support the team everywhere."
