As a Real Estate company that sets themselves apart through innovation and experiences, Aspen Properties was seeking a design for their new head office that exemplified their core vision – to provide the most advanced and sought-after boutique real estate in Alberta, Canada. Through the combination of industrial elements (like corrugated metal, open ceilings with visible ductwork and pipes, and wire mesh) and refined finishes (bevelled mirror, velvet fabrics, and plush carpet), the space exudes refined yet restrained luxury. Opening up the reception area to the bistro and gathering spaces allows for spontaneous interactions and created a sense of community. Aspen strives to provide office environments for their tenants that are both fun and productive, a place where people love coming to work being happy, creative, and profitable. They wanted their space to do the same for their own staff and offer a vision for potential clients to see what their environment can be. The design proved to be a success, as less than a year after moving in, a new tenant fell in love with the space and leased the office for themselves.
