A dynamic and forward-thinking company, Aircastle sought a turn key fit out in this fantastic space in the center of the city to better align with its organizational culture and employees needs. The space that was created gives the sense of a relaxed and pleasant place to work in. An office that encourages employees to be creative and productive, a space that creates a contrast to the busy and intense daily routine. The design of Aircastle office showcases a variety of sophisticated elements that have been seamlessly integrated to create a unique and enjoyable atmosphere. The main feature in this project are the curves in the glass partitions, ceiling and flooring flow, acoustic panels, joinery pieces. The colour scheme is soft, incorporating a variety of shades of nude, terracotta, nutty, dusty blue, deep navy, and faded pink. The lighting was thoughtfully selected to highlight the joinery and complement the colour scheme. These calming colours help to promote focus and concentration, which is essential for employees. The office also includes sit-stand desks, ergonomic chairs, recovery room and other features that promote employee health and well-being. The first thing that strikes you when you enter the Aircastle office is the abundance of natural light and space. Plants were also incorporated throughout the office to improve air quality and reduce stress levels. We worked with a Acoustic Specialist and used texture and various acoustic panels to absorb, diffuse and mitigate noise and improve the well being of all the employees. We ensure all our projects are in line with the ESG design guidelines and also incorporated ShawContract's guidelines for their four pillars. We were consistently thinking how CRM Interior Fit-Outs values and operations can be more sustainable and work towards a clean energy future, therefore sustainability in this fit-out was incredibly important; not only to the client but also the design and construction teams. A comprehensive plan through design phases was implemented in order to reduce the number of staff and vehicles onsite at one time. We also worked with as many sustainable and carbon neutral companies and product that were available to us during the design phase and the building process. This can be seen in the integration of biophilic elements for improved indoor air quality using live plants to divide up areas. The carpet tile products have Silver Cradle to Cradle accreditation and were chosen as we felt this encompasses the whole People Together Planet Forever principles.
