The meeting kicked off with a heartfelt welcome to all members, DE&I enthusiasts, and advocates.Laying out the reasoning behind this new group and outlining the format for upcoming gatherings, setting a tone of openness and collaboration.

One of the highlights of the first meeting was a presentation by Michelle Wilkie, Design Director at TP Bennett. Michelle shared eye-opening facts about menopause and introduced innovative practices from her workplace. Menopause Champions: Dedicated staff members trained to support colleagues; Menopause Cafe: A safe space for sharing experiences and learning from one another. Initiatives in place that demonstrate a commitment to addressing often-overlooked aspects of workplace wellbeing.
Looking Ahead: A Roadmap for Change
The inaugural meeting of Spark Growth has set a strong foundation for future discussions. With a clear structure and aims established, the group is poised to tackle key DE&I topics that demand greater attention in the workplace.
