Arc Business Interiors Head Office - UK

Arc Business Interiors, a leading commercial design and fit out company in the Midlands, recently undertook a renovation project of their own. The goal was to revamp the interior of their client lounge and create a space that would inspire creativity, comfort, and productivity.

To achieve this, the project designer, Vicky Harrison, turned to the Scandinavian aesthetic for inspiration. The clean lines, natural materials and warm colours of this style were perfectly suited to the project's goals. Vicky selected a range of materials and collections from Shaw Contract's EMEA product line that would energise the office environment and promote a sense of well-being.

The Nordic LVT in colour Driftwood was used throughout the space, providing a natural and fine texture that was both comforting and familiar. The Haven carpet tiles in style Identity and colour Fog were also selected for their ability to evoke a sense of calm and serenity, as well as their durability and ease of maintenance.

To further enhance the experience, Harrison incorporated the Living Systems collection in styles Observe, Respond and Transform into other areas of the office. These additions provided a warm and holistic experience for the workplace, promoting a connection to nature and the natural world.

However, the use of sustainable and healthy materials was also a key consideration for the project. All the Shaw Contract collections used in the renovation are Indoor Air Comfort Gold® certified, Cradle to Cradle® certified, carbon neutral and the yarn used for the carpet tile is 100% recyclable. Additionally, the backing is made of 75% recycled content, making it an eco-friendly choice for Arc Business Interiors.

The result of this project is a stunning office space that promotes well-being, creativity, and productivity. With their commitment to both aesthetic and ethical considerations, Arc Business Interiors has shown that commercial design can be both beautiful and responsible.
