Ingram Micro office – Dubai UAE

Technology distributor Ingram Micro commissioned Spacewell Interiors to convert a warehouse space into an operational and functioning office in Dubai’s JAFZA district. The client brief was to liven up the space with bright colours to reflect the culture and branding of the tech company and be in tune with the company’s main offices.

Pops of colour used in the material finishes and flooring complement more neutral tones to create a fun and vibrant feel for this new workspace. In the flooring layout, angular lines create a corridor effect for wayfinding while vibrant colours in Blue, Yellow, Chartreuse, Poppy, Beige and Wave from our Colour Construct carpet tile collection in style Pixel Square were specified. These have been used to distinguish collaborative areas, huddle rooms and phone booths. Meanwhile Rapid Select in style Graph in colours Shadow and Grey Mist provide complementary neutral tones in the corridor and workbench areas.

The overall design involved housing offices, meeting rooms and breakout rooms on the mezzanine level while the ground floor is intended for operations and supply. The reception area was designed to echo the look of the main Ingram offices, with similar finishes and colours incorporated into the space with the added advantage of having high ceilings, bespoke hanging lights in angular shapes were added for impact.
