PWC Emaar Square Headquarters DXB

Dubai, UAE

PWC Middle East’s new office in downtown Dubai is a six-storey, state-of-the-art facility with an open plan and flexible working arrangements, complete with a “disruptive” digital Experience Centre. PricewaterhouseCoopers approached SAY Studio to design their headquarters building in Emaar Square. The new 176,000+ square foot building is PWC’s second office in Dubai and fourth in the U.A.E.

The headquarters is targeting WELL™ Silver and features key spaces, like a rooftop outdoor working and event space, an innovation center, a theater, a wellness room and many other staff facilities. Inspired by the diversity of the U.A.E. (with the Dubai office having over 100 nationalities) and the breadth of the PWC's network of offices, the design aspires to capture the essence of each continent on each floor. In the meeting rooms, the beautiful Shaw Contract Haven carpet tile collection in style Identity and in colours Mint, Overdye, Apricot and Greige has been installed.

For the academy and the classroom spaces, the Haven collection in style Honest and colour Mint and Fog has been selected. SAY Studio have created an open environment meant to disrupt traditional workspaces.  The office is more than a boost in workspace. It signals the evolution of the business and PWC's focus on the future. The Experience Centre is a hub for innovation and creativity, design to foster ideas to solve region’s most important problems.

PWC's new headquarters embodies a shift in the working culture, which is being set up to put people – employees, clients and customers – at the heart of the business.

Haven collection

Traditional wisdom tells us there’s no place like home. It’s a universal truth. But what if home was not simply a place but a state of mind? The Haven collection reimagines home as a mood, an idea, a quality of comfort and familiarity that feeds our instinctual desire to feel grounded in the world.
