San Carlo, Arkwright House
Shaw Contract product selection defines the workspace by using foundational collections that combines work and home life: three different product ranges united by inspiration from the qualities we associate with home, connectivity, and warmth revisiting idea of quality, sophistication, and comfort within the efficient office environment.
The selected Shaw carpets flowed perfectly between the brands to compliment all areas whilst boosting the opulent feel.
The original colour concept developed from a palette of colours reflective of the Sicilian landscape. The soft grey from the Suited collection, featuring the Beam style and Muslim colour for the main body carpet, along with the natural pattern from the Living System collection in the walkway, were chosen to complement this design. In addition, the Haven Identity Tile, utilised in the Boardroom and Inspiration Lounge, introduces contrast with its Rainstorm colourway.
The project's concept aimed to create a space reflecting a hospitality style. Feature carpets, positioned centrally in meeting rooms and along walkways, provide a tailored finish reminiscent of a high-end bar/restaurant or a luxury hotel. Wall panelling, soft lighting & walnut wood detailing to joinery items complimented the grade 2 listed building – making the space feel like it always meant to be there.

Arkwright House is a perfect fit for us, the office space has everything that we need to support our business development."

Suited collection
We respond to our environments in myriad ways, but the core of our responses are aesthetic, tactile or emotional. Suited draws upon all of these responses to both soothe and empower, inspire and engage. Suited brings innate confidence to each new space, evoking a sense of comfort and belonging. Now with two new styles - Beam and Braid, Suited is one of our carbon neutral collections.
