The Tetris team was tasked with creating a space that attracts, retains, and engages employees. A high-quality workplace that embodies the organisation's culture and brand, fostering collaboration across all levels. It is an environment designed to bring people together for cross-functional teamwork.
Shaw Contract products were selected with the aim of achieving a 40%+ reduction in embodied carbon and embracing circular design principles. The Auxiliary, Rapid Select, and Simply by Nature collections were chosen to define a flexible workspace equipped to serve as a meeting place, promote better cross-team collaboration, and adapt to diverse and rapidly changing requirements.
The refurbished JLL office offers a space for every occasion: Tetris created a seamless flooring transition and a softer aesthetic by incorporating collections inspired by nature. The Auxiliary transitions were used in the desk area encouraging focus and tranquillity, while the intentional Simply by Nature collection tiles, featuring organic patterns and soft textures, were employed in the common spaces to encourage collaboration and activity.
The selected collections are all made in UK, Cradle-to-Cradle® certified, Indoor Air Comfort Gold® certified and while they contributed to embodied carbon reductions (Simply by Nature and Rapid Select) and they align with the WELL and BREEAM standards, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability. Both Rapid Select and Auxiliary are part of Shaw Contract’s In-Stock Programme, ensuring prompt availability for projects, eliminating delays, and enabling seamless project progression.
