The NVIDIA Discovery campus sprawls over 12 floors with 2400 work seats and with the best in class office space for Nvidia’s software and hardware team of professionals. The intent was greatly driven by the need for a Campus-like environment with multi-amenity zones to leverage the idea of the versality in the roles an Nvidia employee hones through their typical & atypical work-days. Inculcating the power of exchange, communication and collaboration this campus has been strategically optimized to offer real-value to the inhabitants in enabling work-zone palettes that qualify for agility also in the form of neurodiverse environs. The campus design also accommodates for hardware and software testing labs spread across 3 floors and over 40,000 Sq. Ft. with dedicated emphasis to Lab Design best practices. The project was approached with a design strategy to deliver a collaborative and connected yet a high-focus work environment for the professionals at Nvidia. The campus is infused with common amenities like a Bristo at the ground level, strategically designed and planned social hubs at every level, a centrally located cafeteria and a dedicated recreation zone. Collab zones come in various formats with enclosed and semi enclosed collab spaces designed with acoustical considerations to address an array of work modes a staffer may seek from time to time. The workspace areas are designed for wellness and hosts employees with ample day-light and ergonomic seating. The micro environment within the work area is spatially designed to allow for serious R&D work without noise hinderances. The work desks have also been planned to offer the equity of space to engineers with large desks serving as “I” spaces. Various labs located at different buildings were consolidated to be brought under one roof, enhancing efficiency in the overall work pattern of employees. The material palette and the design vocabulary are a sophisticated blend of warm textures and shades of greys, whites and browns with a pop of colour adding to the drama of the spaces.
