A pillar of the Future District, the Dubai Innovation Hub is home to the city’s most ambitious companies. It’s also the chosen location of a prominent pharma company, who asked us to bring their new office to life. The opportunity? Transforming 5,500 square feet of the existing shell and core into a fully functional, ergonomic office space. But with every opportunity, come challenges. Limited storage, global shipping delays, and lockdown mandates were just a few of the obstacles in our way. Our team worked diligently on the ground and behind the scenes – airfreighting items for quicker delivery, and putting temporary fixtures in place to avoid further delays. The brave, bold and detailed design from SAY Studios included curved gypsum and glass partitions, feature ceilings in the reception and boardroom, and oak veneer joinery throughout.
