Descripción del Proyecto

Welcome to the vibrant and nostalgic world of Sergiolino, a retro-cool Italo-American treasure that perfectly blends the aesthetics of the 1980s with modern comfort. Located in Laval, with an impressive capacity of 190 indoor seats and a terrace accommodating 90 additional guests, Sergiolino is much more than a mere dining venue; it’s a truly immersive experience for all design and food enthusiasts! Every element has been carefully selected and arranged to prioritize user comfort and enjoyment through the power of design. A Dive into the 1980s Bold Colors and Diverse Textures The design of Sergiolino is directly inspired by the iconic look of the 1980s, an era characterized by bold and vibrant colors and the eclectic use of textures and shapes. As soon as you step through the door, you are greeted by a palette of bright and dynamic colors, ranging from intense pinks to neon yellows, creating an atmosphere that is both energizing and welcoming. Textures also play a crucial role. You’ll find a variety of materials, from luxurious velvet to shiny surfaces, bringing a tactile richness that invites visitors to touch and explore. Geometric Shapes and Stripes Geometric shapes and stripes are ubiquitous in the design of Sergiolino. From the walls to the furniture, every detail incorporates geometric patterns that add a touch of sophistication and modernity. Stripes, on the other hand, add visual dynamism that catches the eye and guides movement through the space. These aesthetic choices are not just decorative; they also serve to structure the space and create distinct zones, while maintaining overall visual coherence. The Central Feature: A Unique Carpet At the heart of Sergiolino’s design is a spectacular carpet by ShawContract, covering 378 square yards and occupying a central place in the establishment. This carpet is not just an accessory; it forms the backdrop that supports the entire design. Its varied geometric patterns and colours in shades of pink, green, and purple harmoniously complement the other decorative elements. The result is a visual symphony that envelops visitors in an ambiance that is both nostalgic and decidedly contemporary. Homage to 1980s Icons Throughout Sergiolino, you’ll find frames adorning the walls, featuring artists and celebrities emblematic of the 1980s. From portraits of Madonna to images of Hulk Hogan, and posters of cult films like "Miami Vice," these elements add a touch of nostalgia and pay tribute to an era that continues to fascinate and inspire. These frames are not just decorative; they tell a story and create an emotional connection with visitors, transporting them to a bygone era while offering a unique and memorable experience. The Restaurant Emblem Another iconic element that will surely catch your attention is the restaurant’s emblem: the flamingo. This choice is not accidental and finds its origin in the aesthetics and spirit of the 1980s. The flamingo, with its bright pink plumage and elegant posture, evokes images of luxury, tropical vacations, and glamour, recurring themes in the visuals and popular culture of that time. The idea of adopting the flamingo as an emblem was also inspired by the popularity of these birds in garden and interior decors during the 1980s. The idea was to capture this essence to integrate a touch of whimsy and elegance while paying homage to the iconic decorative elements of that decade. The flamingo thus becomes a symbol of the playful and luxurious ambiance that the restaurant aims to offer its visitors. Conclusion Sergiolino is not just a place to eat; it’s a destination where design and user experience are at the heart of every decision. By drawing inspiration from the 1980s, with vibrant colours, diverse textures, and bold geometric shapes, Sergiolino Restaurant offers a space that is both nostalgic and innovative. Every detail, from the central carpet to the frames of cultural icons, has been carefully chosen to create an immersive atmosphere that will delight everyone.
