We are proud to introduce Element 27 as the next step in apartment living and the first 100% rental community in Western Australia. Element 27 is part of the redevelopment of one of Subiaco’s former light-industrial zones. Situated on a corner lot, its architecture is envisioned to become a distinctive landmark within the Australian Fine China (AFC) precinct. A hierarchy of rich materials including recycled red brick, off-form concrete and dark metal cladding is reminiscent of the site’s industrial heritage. The building’s five-storey form is stepped to follow the natural topography of the land and mitigate the impact on the adjacent parkland. As well as providing the residents with amenity, the pool deck overlooks the public open space and encourages passive surveillance. The development consists of 93 varied apartments to ensure a wide range of housing options. To take advantage of the views and encourage indoor-outdoor living, generous balconies extend off the living areas. In keeping with our environmental philosophy, this development employs various ESD strategies to achieve an average eight-start NatHERS rating for the apartments. Strategies include cross ventilation principles, greywater recycling, solar harvesting and rain water collection.
