This brief challenged GREENBOX to create different spaces; to enable a combination of collaborate and individual working areas for our client, without making actual rooms. We created a refined menu of shared work settings to prioritise a highly collaborative workstyle alongside the need for some individual focused work; to collaborate, ideate and focus. Agility and accessibility were key imperatives – catering for both physical and virtual connection. Transparency is maximised and barriers are removed to foster knowledge share and mentoring. Using materials and finishes to separate and define areas, we incorporated different floor finishes and screens to delineate and define areas rather than to close them off. The Shaw Contract range gave us ideal options and worked well with GREENBOX’s and our client’s sustainability policies.
