Description du projet

Inspired by the Chicago roadway grid, where angular streets break the grid to provide efficient alternatives, the reimagined DIRTT Experience Center is intentionally and inventively designed to celebrate the inspirational framework DIRTT provides to their customers as they break barriers in building through offsite construction. From concept development to construction and digital content creation, our team worked in collaboration with DIRTT to design a space which focuses on guest immersion and delivers a strong narrative, helping them understand the end-to-end process and spectrum of possibilities. Key design goals included creating visual continuity throughout the space and adding more areas for solution vignettes. These goals were achieved with the installation of a dynamic mezzanine to house employee work areas and the innovation lab. The mezzanine was designed in an angular outline to tie back to the local city grid and to draw attention to the two-story volume when entering the space. Throughout the space, DIRTT thoughtfully designated spaces to show problem-solving, human centered approaches to where people work, heal and learn. The healthcare vignette is open and bright, but very purposeful to submerge guests into the patient journey. In the heart, a virtual reality gathering space featured a 170-inch nanolumens screen and a welcoming entertaining zone. DIRTT featured cutting-edge frameless glass solutions in office and huddle settings and highlighted the high acoustical quality in strategically placed phone booths. The immersive space elevates the guest experience to help them understand how DIRTT enables design freedom, and delivers total certainty in cost, schedule and outcomes.
