Project Description

The site chosen for the new Monday offices is in a new tower built in the center of Tel Aviv’s business district. The offices currently span across 8 floors and include office spaces, a gym, and a fabrication lab. All floors are connected by one staircase to help seamlessly stay within the same environment as you move through the space. RDA was commissioned to plan and design the interior of the new space to embody the company's culture and values. Monday is a vibrant company and the brand and interface of the product are colorful and bright. These optimistic colors were incorporated to give a feeling of togetherness. Additionally, it was important that Monday's HQ office reflects calmness, a sense of coziness and inclusion. Setting out to design the space along these lines, it was the objective to create a space that felt like a natural home for Monday, starting from light and textured materials and using many different shades of wood to inserts of color and more adjusted furniture. The workstations are lined against the glass facade of the building to ensure maximization of natural light. Inserts of large meeting rooms separate the open spaces in order to avoid large banks of workstations. Placed along the core of the building are smaller meeting rooms and phone booths, to allow smaller gathering and intimate workspaces. Each floor includes a large café or multipurpose space to allow large gatherings and a place where employees can eat together. Each floor has its own unique color palette. The colors can be seen in the custom-made ceilings in the meeting rooms, the furniture dispersed across the floor and the cafes. Carpets and acoustic panels were matched to this palette, creating a holistic experience in all spaces. One of the most prominent materials in the project is wood, which can be seen in the corridor floors, the custom-made open space ceiling and in the staircase. The purpose of this was to create a warm environment that makes you feel like you're at home.
