The interiors feature organic forms that cater to a casual and playful atmosphere for game-minded patrons. The hotel experience aims to embrace both the community and destination travelers. The Red Hawk Hotel prioritizes comfort and captures a sense of place. Rather than focusing on one singular aesthetic style, we've embraced a new approach that blends several styles, creating a juxtaposition between the new and the native historic spirit. We've opted for a more universal approach in our interior finishes, appealing to a global community. This is a narrative woven with textures, where natural materials blend with artful craftsmanship in flooring design, revealing an element of surprise. The seamless integration of modern applications caters to a global market, offering a refined elegance throughout. The result is an ambiance exuding effortless charm, richness, warmth, and unexpected elements. The interiors of the hotel seamlessly blend Northern California's style with its scenic beauty. The light-filled double-height lobby leaves a lasting impression, offering flexible, layered, and diverse spaces. The lobby and casino connection hallway act as a pass-through point for coveted "stay-cation" guests. The guestrooms provide a calm escape from the casino environment. The lounge offers a gathering place, where guests can reconnect in a comfortable, eclectic atmosphere. The hotel's unique soul is established through a blend of textures and finishes, including hand-oiled white oak, concrete wall tiles, unlacquered bronze and brass metals, complemented by plush wool mohair and smooth leathers on upholstery. Color Story: The color palette is light and airy with pops of unexpected color, creating a memorable atmosphere that doesn't overpower patrons but instead entices them to explore and discover. The use of raw and honest materials draws inspiration from nature itself. The entry approach takes cues from the Calacatta Topaz/Septarian Healing Stone patterns and colorations, grounding the space with cast concrete forms and warm wood accents. Fresh cream walls provide a calming, fresh, and airy backdrop. Metal finishes include raw copper, aged pewter, and lacquered burnished brass, layered to add depth to the spaces. Lighting is modern and thoughtfully designed. Interior Furnishing Package - "The Narrative": For the Red Hawk Hotel, we aim to tell a story with global appeal while respecting its unique ties to the region and tribal culture, without being too literal. The hotel plays a supporting role to the casino, providing patrons with a place to relax, restore, and enhance their overall experience while staying at the resort. Freeform shapes with an organic natural quality are presented in a modern setting. The lobby features beacons of light filtered through "woven pewter cages." Woven basket weave textures are displayed through geometric forms found in carpet tiles, welcoming guests with subtlety, suggestion, and unexpected touches. The custom flooring captures the movement of natural rivers with Calacatta Topaz veins, set against field tile in grey taupe. Shaw's custom area rugs and carpet program present movement and texture in a new way, paying homage to geographical features. References to the culture of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians are detailed in patterns and colorations seen in the floor finishes. Abstract art throughout the public spaces gives these areas a sense of place and introduces accent colorations vertically. The Guestroom Experience: The guestrooms and suites present a new, refined expression of modern rustic. They focus on elemental and unadorned design, emphasizing simple forms and perfect balance. The guestroom carpet features a custom pattern, emulating the rock and water terrain found around the riverbeds throughout the land. Clean lines and intersecting planes define this elevated design aesthetic, softened by relaxed finishes in a muted palette of oyster and shale grays, creams, and burnt sienna. The scheme captures a casual point of view, offering reflection and calm with inherent tranquility.
